Nicola Robinson is a senior lecturer at Liverpool John Moores University. Her research interests encompass multi-sport training, as well as the physiological and psychological changes that are triggered by exercise.
Nicola completed her PhD in cardiovascular physiology in 2011. After completing her PhD, she worked as the English Institute of Sport's lead physiologist for British Para-Swimming, where she accompanied the team to the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as the World and European Championships.
Nicola began lecturing and worked as a sport science manager to elite tournament golfers who were completing degrees themselves. She returned to academic in 2017, when she took on the role of programme leader in the BSc Sport Coaching programme at LJMU.
