- Associate Professor in Conservation Physiology, The University of Western Australia
I received my PhD in ecophysiology from The University of Adelaide in 2001 and held postdoctoral fellowships in New Zealand, the USA, and La Trobe University before I moved to UWA in 2005 on an ARC fellowship. I started working at UWA as a teaching and research academic in 2009.
A consistent theme in my research is to explore the impact of the developmental environment on a range of processes including sex determination in reptiles and reproduction of terrestrial breeding frogs.
Increasingly, my focus is on understanding the adaptive capacity of vertebrates, and on the application of pre-emptive conservation actions to address climate change.
