- Teaching Associate, Monash University
I recently completed my doctoral project, titled "Beyond Colombo: Australian Colonial and Foreign Policy in the Age of International Development, 1945-1975". This project examined the ways that postwar notions of international development proved useful to Australian policymakers in their dealings with SE Asia and Papua New Guinea. I am currently employed as a teaching associate (sessional co-ordinator) in the School of Philosophical, Historical, and International Studies at Monash University.
I have also published work examining the foreign policy of US President Woodrow Wilson in relation to the friendship with his unofficial advisor, Colonel Edward House.
