Currently employed at the Emergency Operations Centre Manager at the
National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD). Previously employed as a Strategic Information Manager at Anova Health Institute, Provincial Epidemiologist, Research Manager at the NICD and Laboratory Coordinator at National Health Laboratory Service. Holds a master's degree in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases, a master's degree public health (epidemiology and biostatics), a postgraduate diploma in management (monitoring and evaluation) and a honours in zoology. Graduate of the South African Field Epidemiology (and Laboratory) Training Programme.
