Neslihan Sriram-Uzundal

I am a member of the Centre for Sensory Studies and a Student Affiliate of the Centre for the Study of Learning and Performance. I am currently completing the Education PhD Program at Concordia University, Montreal, Québec. My research serves as a form of resistance, critically engaging with and challenging dominant narratives that are damage-centered, oppressive, stereotypical, and often racist, particularly those that frame Turkish minorities and their histories in Germany. Through my work, I seek to construct holistic narratives that highlight not only the struggles of minority existence in Germany but also the resilience and resistance of these communities against systemic oppression.
