Nell Reidy

While I graduated from a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) 10 years ago, I have worked as a researcher since and I am enrolled to commence a PhD in 2025.

After I graduated, I worked as a research assistance and an academic tutor at Monash for two years before taking a position as a Senior Research Officer at the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS). I worked at AIATSIS in varying research roles over three years (senior research officer, project manager and assistant director).
I then worked for the Victorian Government for 5 years where my role involved research including fieldwork with Traditional Owners across Victoria. I analysed and synthesised this data to design policy and produce reports.

I am now working as a Research Fellow with the National Indigenous Disaster Resilience program at Monash University.
