A PhD completed in 2014, investigating fracture prediction of resistance spot welded boron steel. Subsequent academic work focused on life cycle analysis of polymer composite automotive structures, as well as developing processing methods for polymer composite demonstrator parts. Recently, a more teaching-focused direction has been taken, with a focus on material and production sustainability for automotive applications.
