Neil Dawson

I am a social scientist using mixed-method approaches to explore wellbeing and environmental justice among rural populations, including Indigenous Peoples and traditional local communities. I am a member of The Global Environmental Justice Group at UEA and a Steering Committee member of the IUCN Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP), advocating for inclusive, equitable governance local empowerment and leadership as the key pathways to address biodiversity loss, climate change and sustainable development.
