- PhD Candidate in Business and Law, Liverpool John Moores University
I am a PhD student at Liverpool Business School at Liverpool John Moores University with academic and work experience in housing compliance and legal frameworks. I have developed exceptional research skills throughout the duration of my studies, as well as analytical skills from my professional appointments. I am a firm believer in lifelong learning and I continue to expand my knowledge and experiences by improving and updating my academic skill set.
I have worked within the public sector for the majority of my working life. My roles have had one common theme. Trying to help and assist people who cannot help, or do not have the confidence to help, themselves. This has ranged from ensuring people have safe homes to live in to trying to ensure a fair and just working environment for the people I have represented. I believe in fairness, justice, opportunity and equality for all.
My current research concentrates on a specific strand of impression management, but I find this subject as a whole fascinating and will examine it in more detail, in the coming years. I also have an interest in the philosophical studies of some of the masters and like to reflect this in my work where possible.
I would like to continue to work with, collaborate and network with likeminded individuals who are aiming to make the workplace a fairer and more just place for all concerned.
