Negin Amini

(She/her)

Dr Negin Amini is a Lecturer in Environmental Engineering at Deakin University Burwood campus and graduated with her PhD from Monash University in 2019. Her research is driven by a commitment to improving the sustainability and resource efficiency of industrial processes. Drawing on a diverse and multidisciplinary research background, she has developed a blue-sky research program funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence in Eco-efficient Beneficiation of Minerals. Building on this foundation, she has expanded her research portfolio into broader sustainability challenges. This includes the application of life cycle assessment (LCA) to emerging technologies, with her current research investigating the environmental impacts and sustainability performance of additive manufacturing processes.
