Nayla Khan is a PhD candidate in marketing at the University of Portsmouth. She completed her MSc in Business and Management from the University of Portsmouth in 2020. She is currently completing my PhD in Marketing at the University of Portsmouth, where her research focuses on how organisations communicate their sustainability practices to consumers.

She is currently working as a Lecturer in Digital Marketing at Kingston University. Previously, she worked as a part-time lecturer in marketing at the University of Portsmouth, alongside her doctoral studies. She also brings experience from the corporate sector, with a background in strategic marketing and brand communication.

Her research interests include digital sustainability communication, brand transparency, and consumer responses in online environments. Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Advertising Research and the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.
