(she/her)
  • Associate Professor in Geography and Sustainability, and Interim Head of the School of Social Sciences, University of Wollongong

I am a critical social geographer with a focus on belonging, marginalisation and discrimination among migrant and refugee communities. My current research explores the settlement of former refugees in rural and regional areas of Australia, and the environmental and agricultural knowledge and capacities of migrants. My research often uses participatory and action-oriented methods and seeks to engage people with lived experience of migration as collaborators.

My research also focuses on social dimensions on environmental issues, particularly amongst young people, migrants and refugees.
