Driven by purpose and compassion, Naduni Madhavika (MBA, BBA Hons, CLSSB) is a Doctoral Researcher at the Tasmanian School of Business & Economics, University of Tasmania. Before commencing her doctoral studies, she served as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Management at SLIIT Business School, Sri Lanka. Her PhD investigates modern slavery in the tourism sector—a critical ethical frontier at the intersection of sustainability, governance, and social justice. She is also a Professional Member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM). Naduni’s doctoral work is of a high academic standard, reflected in recognition through reputable ABDC-listed publications, well-regarded conference presentations, and a competitive Best Paper Award. She remains deeply committed to producing research that creates meaningful, real-world impact.
