Muse is an MSc candidate in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary, where her research, supported by the Canada Graduate Scholarships–Master’s program, probes how everyday factors shape memory and forgetting. Outside the lab, she serve on the Department of Clinical Neurosciences’ Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility committee, where she co-lead the Climate, Equity & Neurological Health initiative. This interdisciplinary project examines how climate-driven environmental stressors affect neurological conditions in equity-seeking communities across Canada. She also develops culturally grounded mental-health curricula with Stardale Women’s Group to help inform suicide prevention interventions within Indigenous communities. Across these roles, Muse translate complex science into clear, actionable insights, expertise she bring to conversations at the nexus of climate change, neurological health, and social justice.
