Molecular ecologist specialising in the influence of precolonial Indigenous Peoples on the distribution of east Australian rainforest species.

I study genetic variation within and between native plant species to investigate
• The legacy of precolonial Aboriginal people on the biogeographic history of plants.
• Ecological and trait-based drivers of diversification, speciation and range dynamics.
• Adaptive processes in plant populations that can inform climate-resilient translocation strategies for species conservation and habitat restoration.
