• Associate Professor of Biostatistics, Public Health and Community Medicine, Tufts University

I am a biostatistician who applies mathematical and probabilistic methods to solve clinical and public health questions. In addition to an educational background grounded in mathematics, statistics, and biostatistics, I have over 35 years of experience in the design, management, and analysis of clinical trials, longitudinal cohort and cross-sectional studies. Over the years, I have applied my skills to a wide spectrum of research areas, including acute and secondary prevention of stroke, multiple sclerosis, advanced brain imaging, cancer biomarkers, prevention of substance use among adolescents, reduction of traffic-related air pollution through filtration, prenatal nutrition, and prevention of obesity among children with autism spectrum disorder and intellectual disabilities. I have published over 250 peer-reviewed articles, and paralleling my research efforts, I have taught biostatistics to graduate students, postgraduate medical education trainees, healthcare professionals, and clinical faculty.
