I earned my master's degree in economics from Al. I. Cuza University, followed by a DEA in Social Science from the Doctoral School of Central Europe, and a PhD in Sociology from Laval University. Before joining INRS, I held a teaching position at Laval University. During my tenure at INRS, I have been an active member of the Study and Research Committee, and I served as the Director of the Youth Observatory from 2005 to 2010. In this role, I played a key part in internationalizing the Observatory. Currently, I hold the position of Professor for the Practical Research Program, where I lead a multidisciplinary team in studying knowledge mobilization, the youth labour market and the digital economy. Since 2010, I have been serving as the co-president of the «Sociology of Work» research committee (RT 15) at the International Association of French-Speaking Sociologists (AISLF). Additionally, I have been an Economy Research Fellow at CIRANO since 2013, a center known for its interdisciplinary, interuniversity, and intersectoral approach. I have also had the privilege of holding visiting appointments at various institutions worldwide, including the University of Luxemburg, Aix-Marseille University, Federal University of Santa Catarina, Lasalle University, and the University of Brest. In recent years, my professional journey has taken me to international conferences and congresses, as well as lecturing engagements in countries such as France, Luxemburg, Brazil, Belgium, and the United States.
