Miranda Nonis is a Research Fellow and Project Coordinator for the Pandemics and Borders Project at Simon Fraser University. Miranda holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Health from the Brighton and Sussex Medical school and a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Health Sciences, a minor in International Studies, and a specialization in International Security and Conflict from Simon Fraser University. Her master’s thesis looked at patterns of sexual risk behaviours during and after extreme weather events. Her research interests include environmental determinants of health, global health security and global health governance.
