Dr. Minjin Kim is an assistant professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Kim is committed to cancer prevention and implementation science using innovative technology-based storytelling interventions to address health disparities and promote health equity among the various populations. She has contributed to several community-based participatory research projects to develop and test culturally appropriate interventions related to the prevention of hepatitis B, and HPV-associated cancers, particularly among Asian Americans. She is an expert in the development of digital storytelling interventions using innovative methods for trial-based delivery technology tools to improve recruitment, engagement, and retention. She is also keen on researching cross-cultural and cross-generational health communication and mental health issues among immigrants. She is a co-editor of the book, "The 1.5 Generation Korean Diaspora A Comparative Understanding of Identity, Culture, and Transnationalism."
