Miniature Malekpour is a Research Assistant at Justice Collaboration (Sydney Policy Lab), University of Sydney, and a JD candidate at Sydney University Law School. She holds a PhD in New Media Arts and Technology from the Australian National University and is the author of the forthcoming monograph Frames of Resistance: The Cinematic Language of the Iranian Feminist Film.
She is also Lived Experience Lead at About Time, Australia's national prison newspaper. Her writing spans legal journalism, cultural criticism, gender identity, and film theory.
