Milo Gough

I am a historian of urban Africa interested in infrastructure, technology, cartography, coloniality, development and changing environments. My research focuses on the colonial history of Freetown, Sierra Leone.

I completed my PhD at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2022. Since then, I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Strathclyde and lectured at the University of Manchester and the University of Oxford.
