Mika Rizki Puspaningrum

I am a vertebrate paleontologist and geologist, specializing in the study of paleo-environments, faunal migration and evolution processes in insular Southeast Asia. My research interest is the biogeographic dynamics of the Sundaland and Wallacea regions, particularly the evolution of large mammals, how environmental change and island isolation have shaped faunal evolution through time, by integrating geological, paleontological, and stable isotope approaches.
Currently, I am teaching at the Geological Engineering program, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and have been collaborating in paleontological and archaeological researches in Flores, Sulawesi, Java and Sumatra.
