Michelle Wise

Associate Professor Michelle Wise is the Deputy Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Sciences, FMHS, University of Auckland, and a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Te Toka Tumai Auckland. Dr Wise has a strong research track record of leading national research trials on several areas of women's health. She has chaired several national clinical guideline development groups. She has over 75 peer-reviewed publications and has secured several external research grants. She teaches at the medical school and on the postgraduate Diploma, supervises student research projects, and recently developed Short Courses in Women's Health for health practitioners. Dr Wise has several national leadership roles, is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences, and interviews for media on all aspects of women's health.
