Michelle Swainson

Experienced Educator & Scientist | Researcher & Advocate for Better Cardiovascular Disease Prevention | Physical Activity for Healthier Outcomes |

I am an exercise physiologist, researcher and educator focused on improving population health through early risk identification, preventive and management interventions, which has the potential to provide clear data-driven and actionable evidence that bridges research and real-world impact.

I specialise in cardiometabolic health, physical activity, and body composition assessment, with experience leading and contributing to applied research projects that work directly with industry, healthcare and community partners. My work translates physiology-based and public health research into practical insights that are intended to support better health decisions, service improvement, and healthier communities.
