- Research Fellow, UNSW
My current research, funded by the ARC, focusses on Australian music composed in the 1960s and 1970s, based at the University of New South Wales.
Prior to returning to Sydney I worked at the Royal Academy of Music, in London, where I wrote about performer/composer collaboration and taught in their postgraduate studies programme. Whilst in London I was also a freelance promoter or new music, particular as published by The University of York Music Press.
My PhD is from The University of York (UK), and the book that resulted from that research is titled 'The Music of David Lumsdaine', published by Ashgate.
I also hold MMus and BMus degrees from the University of Sydney, in performance (mandolin).
