Meredith is a physiotherapist and experienced quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methodologies researcher with a research platform focused on reducing health and wellbeing inequities of and with disabled people. Her community partnered co-designed projects, span all aspects of the health system (micro, meso, macro) and are informed by local, national, and international research collaborations. She works interprofessionally, and in a disability responsive manner, to positively disrupt systems delivery to enable accessible and resilient communities. She is an active member of the Centre for Health Activity and Rehabilitation Research (CHARR), on the executive committee for the Collaboration of Ageing Research Excellence (CARE), the steering committee of the Critical Disability Network and a member of the University of Otago Senate appointed Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee.
