PhD topic: Christianity Sells and the Advertiser’s Toolbox: The work of Christian cultural markers in television advertisement

Current research focuses on media literacy, promotional culture, and childhood studies, and the mediated representations of gender and religion.

I am passionate about helping young people understand how the media shapes their identity and empowering them to have agency in their relationship with it.
