Melissa Blackburn

Melissa is currently undertaking her Ph.D. in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University. Broadly, her program of research focuses on the relationships between perfectionism and mental health and well-being among teenagers. More specifically, she is interested in the links between perfectionism, mental health and feelings of disconnection from others as well as the potential protective role of self-compassion in these relationships.
