I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Otago, where I direct the Sensory Neuroscience and Nutrition Laboratory. My research focuses on human smell, taste, flavour perception, sensory neuroscience, and eating behaviour. I have extensive experience designing and leading behavioural, psychophysical, and neuroimaging studies, particularly in areas such as chemosensory function, food perception, mental imagery, food craving, and sensory changes across different life stages and health contexts.
