I am a public health researcher focusing on issues related to gender and women's health in low- and middle-income countries. I am currently in a research and teaching position at the University of Melbourne School of Population and Global Health in Australia. Prior to this position, I worked as a researcher at the World Health Organization in the Department of Reproductive Health and Research.
I have a PhD and MSPH in women's and reproductive health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Maryland, USA, and a BA in African Studies and Psychology from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, USA.
