Megan Topping

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Summer Foundation and an Adjunct Research Fellow at La Trobe University.

My research focuses on improving the quality of disability support through research that centres the lived experience of people with disability. My work spans qualitative and mixed-methods research, co-design, evaluation, and measure development.

I completed my PhD at La Trobe University in 2023, where I developed a model of quality disability support grounded in the experiences of people with disability, their close others, and support workers. My current research involves co-designing and evaluating a measure of the quality of one-to-one disability support for adults with neurological disability. I am committed to research that drives practical, rights-based improvements in disability services.
