Megan is in the second year of her PhD in biological sciences with IBERS at Aberystwyth University. Alongside her studies, Megan works in the agricultural sector as a contract sheep shearer and farm hand, as well as helping to run the family farm in Leicestershire.
She gained a first-class degree with honours in Biology from Edge Hill University, as well as a Masters of Research (MRes) qualification in tropical plant population genetics.
During her PhD, Megan is focused on animal science/grazing behaviour of livestock and carbon emissions as part of ongoing research at Pwllpeiran Upland Research Centre.
