Meg has been an educator for over 30 years. She spent 14 years in K-12 classrooms in public schools including Washington, DC and San Jose, CA. Currently, she is a Professor of Education at Stockton University in New Jersey. She teaches pre-service teachers and supports programs to recruit and train pre-service teachers to be effective urban educators. She has published and presented at national and international conferences on topics related to urban education. Her most recent publication is "William Frantz Public School; A Story of Race, Resistance, Resilience, and Recovery in New Orleans" with co-authors Connie Schaffer and Martha Graham Viator.
