Matt was appointed as a Senior Lecturer in Business and Commercial Law at Lancaster University in September 2024, prior to that he held the position of Lecturer in Law at the School of Law and Social Justice, University of Liverpool (August 2015 - September 2024). He lectures in Banking Law, Company Law, Crime & the Dark Web and Financial Services Law. His current research develops themes and issues around technology enhanced financial crime.
