- Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Keele University
In January 2018, I was awarded a PhD at the University of Leeds. My thesis focused on exploring the applicability and explanatory power of social psychological understandings of Procedural Justice Theory within the context of public order policing and thus the policing of crowd events. My PhD work formed part of the conceptual origins of a large-scale successful £783,595 ESRC funding bid: "From coercion to consent: social identity, legitimacy, and a process model of police procedural justice (CONSIL)"
I am currently working as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Keele University on a range of policing related projects as part of the academic team within the Keele Policing Academic Collaboration (KPAC).
