Dr. Matthew Munro is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Calgary and a Senior Archaeologist at Stantec Consulting Ltd. Matt has over 15 years' experience in academic and public-sector archaeology and he's worked in Canada, Panama, Italy, and the UK. His research interests include landscape approaches to understanding the past, socio-ecological resilience, complexity theory, and digital approaches to heritage interpretation and preservation. Matt's current research projects include collaboration with several institutions on the Villa of Titus Archaeological Project in central Italy, and studying the Canadian CRM labour market. Matt also serves as an executive director on the board of the Archaeological Society of Alberta, Calgary Centre.
