Matthew D. Neal

Matthew Neal, MD, FACS, is the Watson Chair and Professor of Surgery, Vice Chair of Academic Training, and Director of Emergency General Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He directs the Trauma and Transfusion Medicine Research Center with a research program that focuses on bleeding control and innovation in blood transfusion. He is also the Chief Medical Officer of Haima Therapeutics.
