Environmental expert and climate comedian based at UCL where he lectures in Environmental Economics. Matt has a PhD in climate policy and has several publications on the economics of mitigation including several cited in IPCC AR6 WG3. His research topics have included the Paris Agreement, the circular economy and climate finance. Matt is also an expert climate communicator who hosted the BBC Radio 4 show "Net Zero: A Very British Problem" and wrote the book Hot Mess: What on Earth Can We Do About Climate Change.
