Dr Matt Brett PhD is Director of Academic Governance and Standards at Deakin University, where he has oversight for higher education standards compliance, academic governance, academic policy, course governance, institutional research and surveys, and quality assurance. Matt has longstanding research interests in higher education policy and student equity with publications covering financing policy, disability, inherent requirements, mental health, regional student participation, and assessment.
