Marvellous Adeoye

Dr Marvellous Adeoye is a global health researcher at the Institute of Public Health and Wellbeing at the University of Essex. He holds a medical degree (Ghana) and an MSc in cardiovascular diseases (UK). His research focuses on the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases and other non-communicable diseases, globally and particularly in Africa. He serves as a reviewer for the Global Heart Journal and contributed to the World Heart Federation's World Heart Report 2024 & 2025, which highlights the high burden of air pollution on cardiovascular health globally, and advocates for urgent action to improve planetary health.
