Martina Elia Vitoloni is a Doctoral Student and Research Assistant at McGill University’s Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL). She is a licensed attorney in Argentina, where she earned her law degree from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. She completed her LL.M. in Air and Space Law at the IASL, where her thesis explored the legal concept of usufruct as a potential framework for space resource exploitation. Her current doctoral research focuses on lunar governance, with particular emphasis on liability issues in outer space activities.
Martina is the co-editor of a McGill-led project that analyzes and compares the Outer Space Treaty’s authentic and official language versions. She has presented her work at international conferences including Space Resources Week, the Cambridge International Law Conference, and the International Astronautical Congress.
