- Associate Research Fellow in Biomaterials, Deakin University
I have 7 years of industry experience, including 5 specialising in microencapsulation, and am the sole inventor of the third biodegradable encapsulation technology to be commercialised globally for laundry and cosmetic applications. My PhD explored how silkworms spin silk, and how those principles can be translated into synthetic fibres, aiming to create materials that are tougher, more energy-efficient and biodegradable alternatives to conventional options.
