Dr Martin Webber is a registered social worker with experience of working with adults with mental health problems or a learning disability. He completed his PhD at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, and moved to the University of York in September 2012. His research interests lie primarily in the development and evaluation of social interventions for people with mental health problems. This includes primary epidemiological or methodological work; ethnographic work to develop intervention models; and experimental work to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. He is Director of the Mental Health Social Care Research Centre at the University of York. He blogs in a personal capacity at http://martinwebber.net/
