Marta San Miguel Pagola

I am Dr. Marta San Miguel Pagola, a proud member of the Teaching and Research staff at Universidad San Jorge (USJ). My academic journey began with a Degree in Physiotherapy, followed by postgraduate studies in Pediatric Physiotherapy, and Emotional Education and Well-being. My passion for learning and advancing my knowledge led me to complete a Master’s in Respiratory Physiotherapy and eventually a PhD in Health Sciences.

My clinical experience extends both nationally and internationally, where I have focused primarily on respiratory physiotherapy for patients of all ages, with a particular emphasis on chronic diseases. Currently, my research is centered around the development of educational physiotherapy interventions. These interventions are carefully designed through a co-creation process to cater specifically to the needs of our target populations, while also integrating aspects of emotional well-being. This approach underscores my commitment to delivering holistic and tailored healthcare solutions.
