- Professor of Informatics and Chair in Complexity Science, Te Herenga Waka — Victoria University of Wellington
I am a Professor of Informatics and the inaugural holder of the Chair in Complexity Science at Victoria University of Wellington. I am also one of two co-directors at Te Pūnaha Matatini - Aotearoa New Zealand's centre for research excellence (CoRE) in complex systems. My research group is the Complexity & Connection Science Lab that brings together students and researchers to work on theories and methods to understand the structures and dynamics of complex systems, and to develop computational tools that securely and meaningfully augment human intelligence.
