I completed my PhD in the Farncombe Family Digestive Health Research Institute at McMaster University and started working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Farncombe Institute Nutrition Initiative (FINI). My PhD work focused on how the consumption and metabolism of fibre is affected by celiac disease and while following a gluten-free diet. Now my research projects have broader implications to how personalized nutrition can be used to enhance the treatment of digestive disease.

I'm also passionate about using science communication to engage with the community and inspire positive interactions.
