Mark has more than 20 years’ experience in the design and implementation of practically guided research and analysis, with a strong emphasis on health services research, drawing on studies in science, economics, commerce and psychology.
He is an accomplished multi-disciplinary researcher, strategic thinker and project manager with experience working across a range of industries and sectors, including health, economic development, parliament, treasury, education and new technologies.
Mark has experience in teaching in a range of settings, and with experiences at Flinders University, Adelaide University and UniSA.
He is a founding member of the Nosokinetics Collaboration, which is an international group of researchers and clinicians interested in improving the provision of health (and social) care services through the use of modelling. Mark says he is passionate about helping people to deliver effective health services through making use of their available data and evidence, or helping them to collect what is needed for the job at hand.
