Dr. Mark A. Andrich is the founder and CEO of Sustainable Platform, a globally recognized sustainability information provider. Mark has published international journal papers across of range of energy and water sustainability topics. His academic research on energy sustainability and wealth inequity is in the top 5% of articles read on Altmetric. Mark's PhD was sustainability from the perspective of wealth inequity. His research proved empirically that land clearing had led to rainfall decline and higher water prices in southwest Australia. Other research led to WA establishing Australia's first State-owned sovereign wealth fund. His article, "Inequality as an obstacle to sustainable electricity and transport energy use", co-authored with Lord Oxburgh and Prof. Jorg Imberger, is the top 5% of all articles ever tracked by Altmetric. Mark has a PhD in engineering and undergraduate degrees in engineering (oil & gas) and commerce. He is the founder of Sustainable Trust, Sustainable Platform and co-founder of the Sustainable Token.
