Marissa Parrott is the Senior Conservation Biologist in the Wildlife Conservation & Science Department at Zoos Victoria
She is also an Honorary Research Associate in the School of Biosciences at the University of Melbourne and the Vice President of the Australian Mammal Society.
The major focus of Marissa’s research is captive breeding, reintroduction and conservation of some of Australia’s most critically endangered species, with a focus on marsupials, rodents and frogs. Marissa has studied and worked extensively across Australia, Africa, Asia and Antarctica, with wildlife and community conservation.
