Marin Cvitanovic

Marin Cvitanovic is a Principal Academic in Human Geography at Bournemouth University. He is a geographer researching how societies shape, and are shaped by, environmental change during periods of social, economic and political transformation, with work spanning post-socialist Europe, East Africa and the UK. He is interested in how processes such as globalisation, demographic change and climate change reshape landscapes and livelihoods, and what this means for communities' relationships with place, identity, and environmental justice. Marin received his PhD from the University of Zagreb in 2014.
